If you think you must have MS Word is a good presentation for the preparation, I disagree with respect. Surely there is a free alternative that is not good if not better.
OpenOffice (OO) and the Mac version of NeoOffice (NO) are two incredibly powerful office suite, complete with their built-in program called Impress, for presentations, in my case, as well as MS Word. And … This also happens to be free. Search for "Open Office" and "NeoOffice" on Googleto recover from their respective positions.
Here is how to design and prepare a presentation using OO or not to tour.
Select the option Text Document from OO / NO menu to see the word processor.
Choose File> Wizards> Show menu to display the Fax Wizard (Note: the letter, fax, calendar and website and magicians!)
Or, alternatively you can directly select File> Presentation OO / NO menu.It also shows the same wizard presentation.
SCREEN 1:
In the first screen (numbered 1) Presentation of the wizard, you can choose one of three types of presentation: a) blank presentation, b) model, or c) "Open existing presentation".
a) If you select Blank Presentation 1 on the screen, click Next and proceed to a second exhibition assistant. (See Screen 2)
b) If you choose From template option on the screen1, the wizard, you can choose from one of the two built a modest business models available: Introducing a new product, and on the recommendation of a strategy.
It 'the same screen you can select an Introduction and Background: Dark Blue, with the person or Thin Accents (my personal favorite).
You can click Next and proceed to a second exhibition assistant. (See Screen 2)
c) If you have an existing presentation will show the wizard to search yourdisc. After you select and open the presentation, the Assistant will contribute to the drafting full application Impress.
Here, as in MS Word, you can choose between a set of master pages, make any changes to the text you want on each slide that includes an impressive selection of graphics, call-outs, pictures and even manipulate images (eg rotate etc.) The number of things you can do is to make your model presentation and each slideis too long and must be personally experienced to be appreciated. (All that from a program is completely free!)
Note: Both OO and NO open all the MS PowerPoint presentation very well without problems! And when you go, you can re-save them in MS Word format, and no one will ever know the difference.
Click Next to move to the next screen.
SCREEN 2:
In the second screen (number 2) Presentation of the wizard, youto choose a slide design.
Here is an apparent repetition of some users, as the assistant could be confused again requested a presentation style and background of the presentation, the same opportunity to screen 1 election. But it is a repeat of you selected Blank Presentation in the previous screen.
Screen 2, you can also choose from the following output media: Original, Overhead sheets of paper, Screen, Slide (my personalPreferred).
Click Next to move to the next screen.
SCREEN 3:
This is where the fun really begins, because you get to choose from a range of stunning transition effects, yeaah!
Effects menu offers more than two dozen options for the transition as "Wipe Down", "Find Links", "rotate clockwise, 3 races," etc. For example in the field during the mini-preview window is selected, You can see the real – time each of these effectschoose!
The menu speed, you can choose one of three available transition speeds: slow, medium, fast.
After that you can decide if you want to promote from one slide to another standard (by hand) or automatically.
If you select Automatic, and then the assistant can also choose the duration and length of the side of the pause between slides.
Click Next to move to the next screen.
SCREEN 4:
Onfourth screen (number 4) Presentation of the wizard, you are allowed to enter in general, the following model:
What is your name and company name? What is the subject of your representation? Any additional ideas will be offered?
Click Next to move to the next screen.
SCREEN 5:
The fifth screen (number 5) Presentation of the wizard, you can select the pages you want to appear as a part of yourrepresentation.
Depending on the combination of the choices you made in the previous screen, you'll be offered a dynamic list of options page.
For example, the screen, click the "introduction of a new product" model SCREEN 1-5 you will see the following page:
Title, long-term goals, the client wants to meet customer needs cost analysis, strengths and advantages, the next step in action.
If, on the other hand, you chooseRecommendation of a strategy of "model SCREEN 1-5 screens you will see the following page:
Check the title, the long-term objectives, the current situation, developing Until now, the alternatives and a recommendation.
NOTE: No matter what kind of hand book, is offered, you can always choose the United Nations and select each page for more slide to adjust.
After all these choices you makebutton to go directly to the full press editor.
And once you're there, you can more or less take change initiatives that are available in MS Word, including the choice of a variety of master pages, the text be changed to the slide, including an impressive selection of graphics, call out, the photos and you can also import images (such as rotating, handling, etc.), to your tastes and needs.
Edit window also provides an alternative tocooperate with the drafting of the following conditions:
Normal, outline, notes, handouts, and slides.
You have no idea how powerful and complete free program for presentation prior to using them.
When done, choose File> Save menu and save the presentation in more than a dozen of presentation formats, including (but of course!) MS PowerPoint.
A wizard perfect introduction and use of a full suite of Office features that costs you zero, zero, nada.
